I travel alone, what are my options on the Galapagos?
No problem when travelling alone. Galapagos Last Minutes will try to get you a cabin shared with a member from the same sex. However on the cheaper cruises this can’t be guaranteed. If you prefer to have a cabin alone, a percentage will be added to the price, which depends per boat. For more information about this options, please contact us. On land tours you can usually join others groups as a solo traveller.

When and how do I receive my documents needed for my Galapagos cruise?
A few days before you leave to the Galapagos you will receive all necessary information (voucher for the cruise, flight tickets and information letter) by e-mail. If you stay in a hotel/hostel in Quito, someone from our staff can come by your hotel/hostel and leave all the documents with you. Just let us know where you stay and we take care of the rest!

What is the difference between a land tour and a cruise?

During a cruise you travel (mostly during the night) from island to island and you visit different places to explore the animals and plants. Every day there are some activities and time to snorkel. You sleep and eat on the boat.
During a land tour you usually visit only 2 or 3 islands and with your guide and group you look for the flora and fauna. During a land tour you stay in different hotels on the islands that you will visit. Usually land tour also include other activities like horse riding, mountain biking and snorkling.
